Alex, Kurtis, and I whent to Double Action Shooting Center in Madison Hieghts, Michigan and shot my rifles. We shot a few different loads out of each gun. We had a Remington 700 30-06 bolt action and a Sears and Roebuck Model 200 12 gauge pump action. We shot 12 gauge 1 oz rifled slugs and 12 gauge hollow point sabot slugs. For the 30-06 we had 220, 180, and low recoil 125 grain ammunition (all full metal jacket). Here is some of the highlights! |

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION.... Let's take ride on the German narrow gauge from Zittau to Jonsdorf. The train we are riding is pulled by one of the 2-10-2T Class 99 locomotives that are common on narrow gauge lines around Germany. The track gauge on this line is 750mm or 2ft. 5 1/2inches. At one time this line tried burning a light heating oil in one of their 2-10-2T's in order to reduce pollution of the coal smoke. It was not successful and the engine was changed back to burning coal. This line splits at Bertsdorf. In this video we ride the line from Bertsdorf to Jonsdorf. The other line from Bertsdorf goes to Oybin, which I covered in a previous video. Most of this video was shot from the platform of one of the passenger cars, moving from one side to other to get the engine as the train went around the many curves. This video was shot in early summer 2002. |

Another Blast from the Past: One of master modeller David Marshall's layouts, the 'O' gauge Midland Railway "Norbeck". Many are the pleasant hours I have enjoyed operating this with him all over England. Note the amazing working Crane in the Yard.
