Starts after intro at 0:18. **Spoilers for UK episodes 5x06/6x01 and US episodes 3x06/3x07** So, like I said, one of my vidding New Year's Resolutions is to vid new fandoms, and I've loved this show since the first episode, so I had to vid this storyline, because it was soo beautifully acted and such a shock! I can't believe Matt's dead :'( he was my favourite character on this show, and I was hoping that him and Alesha could have a shot at being together. For anyone who doesn't watch the shows, Matt was one of the main characters, he loved his job and would do anything it takes to bring justice. As Sam says in 6x01, "DS Devlin was a hero", he died saving a young witness and his friend, Alesha, as he pushed them out of the line of fire. So here's a tribute to the wonderful Jamie Bamber and his character, Matt Devlin. The video just shows scenes of the shooting, and the reaction from other members of the cast, particularly Ronnie and Alesha. I also included some older scenes of Matt, which are some of my favourite storylines he's had over the years. Btw, major kudos to Bradley Walsh, he was so believable in every scene of the aftermath of the shooting, had me in tears the whole episode. Also, I think Paul Nicholls was the perfect replacement for Matt, as Sam seems to have a lot of the same ideas as Matt and you can tell he agrees that justice is either black or white, just like Matt did. The Fire came into the 2010 Nike Peach Jam needing a win and they got just that by beating Athlete's First in their opening round game. They Fire showed their athleticism by dunking and blocking shots. The Fire also got what they needed and that was a flight. The Fire were able to fly into Atlanta, Georgia and ride to the highly anticipated Nike event that some other Nike teams only had the option to ride a bus to the 1st annual EYBL Finals at the Nike Peach Jam. It may sound sweet but it really isn't to the Fire. The Fire don't play for the free hospitality given by Nike, they come into every game to "beat up on some more out of Towner's," said CEO Mike Irvin. Athlete's First out of Oklahoma battled with the Fire inside and outside. The Fire's athleticism showed with Sam Thompson and Jamie Crockett showcasing their unbelievable dunking ability. Louisville-Commit Wayne Blackshear, played a patient and smooth game scoring 19 points. Blackshear is considered as one of the nation's top 10 prospects for the class of 2011. Also Blackshear was named a McDonald's All American but he didn't play due to a slight dislocation in his left shoulder.
