This technique workshop demonstrates a defence against multiple attackers from the perspective of the Filipino Martial Arts (Eskrima-Kali-Arnis). In this issue, we decided to do something totally different, and have a two-on-one attack with an all female cast! Female-to-female violence is on the rise, and this Technique Workshop reflects the scenario where women are attacking other women. It is common for women to seek self-defence strategies against male attackers, but is now also pertinent to consider scenarios where other women are the aggressors. In this article, Kacey also answers a Q&A section question: "How are the core principles of the martial arts that you teach?" where she talks about 'Defanging the snake', programming, adaptability and combat fitness.
