Green sites nestled in hollows with fairways that feed to ball to the green encourage the knock down shot or the bump and run with the ball releasing towards the pin. Others, where greens are elevated, with steep run offs encouraging the approach to be well up. From the tees, golfers might often be encouraged to take driver, but wide open spaces generally dictate a "darker side" in the strategic intent of the hole, where best position on the fairway to a tricky green might may well involve a risk and reward scenario...often taking on a wonderful bunkering plan. Actually, my final exams for high school approache and I have to review my lessons... Too much things to learn, gosh T^T Well, no time to speak about school ! I am into Glee since more than a month, and I absolutely fell in love with this TV show ♥ Even if the plot is sometimes a bit odd and no interesting, the songs are amazing, they are all amazing singers, and I fell in love with Chris Colfer and Klaine (THEY ARE TOO CUTE !) *fangirl* That's the same with that amazing song from the musical Victor/Victoria I discovered thanks to Glee ! Not as perfect as the original with the wonderful Julie Andrews or the cover version of Chris Colfer, but... I kinda like it ! I think my voice suits that kind of song... *No, I'm not a vain person XD* I wanted to take an image from Victor/Victoria but I couldn't find a HQ picture so I took an image from Kurt's performance instead... Also... My first song in English ! I hope my accent is good :) Don't know what next would be, but certainly an English song again ! I've recorded Kelly Clarkson's Because Of You (one of my favorite song and american singer) but I don't know when I would be able to mix it, so... Again, I'm talking too much. Enjoy ! Victor Victoria is a 1982 musical comedy film released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer that involves homosexuality, transvestism and sexual identity as central themes. It stars Julie Andrews, James Garner, Robert Preston, Lesley Ann Warren, Alex Karras, and John Rhys-Davies. ...brought to you by the Fine Food & Dining Society of the University of St Andrews Presenter: Victoria Albrecht Camera: Sam Kenchington & Wayne Shi Productio and Editing: Victoria Albrecht Menu: Pea & Mint Soup and Poached Pears in Spiced Wine with Chocolate Sauce Pea and Mint Soup Ingredients 1 bunch spring onions, trimmed and roughly chopped 1 medium potato, peeled and diced 1 garlic clove, crushed 850ml vegetable or chicken stock 900g young peas in the pod (to give about 250g/9oz shelled peas) 4 tbsp chopped fresh mint large pinch caster sugar 1 tbsp fresh lemon or lime juice 150ml buttermilk or milk + crème fraîche Method: 1. Put the spring onions into a large pan with the potato, garlic and stock. Bring to the boil, turn down the heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until the potato is very soft. For the garnish, blanch 3 tbsp of the shelled peas in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, drain, put in a bowl of cold water and set aside. Add the remaining peas to the soup base and simmer for 5 minutes - no longer, or you will lose the lovely fresh flavour of the peas. 2. Stir in the mint, sugar and lemon or lime juice, cool slightly then pour into a food processor or liquidiser and whizz until as smooth as you like. Stir in half the buttermilk or soured cream, taste and season with salt and pepper. 3. To serve the soup cold, cool quickly, then chill - you may need to add more stock to the soup before serving as it will thicken as it cools. To serve hot, return the soup to the <b>...</b> |

But seriously one of my favorite musicals is 'Victor/Victoria' and I of course idolize Julie Andrews (what self-respecting queen doesn't?!!) And I've always wanted to sing this number, but because the scope of it in the movie and Broadway production is BIG, it required some assistance from the uber-talented Lisa Navarro and her amazing dance troupe including MXM Artisan Agency's own vocal powerhouse Heather Viscia-King! So here's my 'Daddy Love' take on the true showstopping number of this classic musical! Well, 'Turkeys And Trannys' took flight last night @ Cafe Flore, and what a buffet of entertainment we had for our Thanksgiving spectacular, and sending out some SERIOUS BIG LOVE to all that performed, participated and witnessed our feast of fabulousness!
